Palazzo Naiadi

When in Rome, choose a historic palace for your stay – but make sure it comes with 21st-century creature comforts, a warm, personal welcome and the hottest tips for making the best of the city. Splendidly situated on the curve of Piazza Repubblica, overlooking Rutelli's Fountain of the Naiads and Michelangelo's Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli, our neoclassical palace does just that.

Dating from 1887, and with an intriguing wing built in 1705 by Pope Clement XI as a grainstore for the Vatican, Palazzo Naiadi is suspended over the ancient (AD306) Diocletian Thermal Baths complex, whose excavated foundations and mosaics you can see through our lower ground floor. History is everywhere, but so is the fun of being alive in Rome – and we want you to enjoy it.

Come up to our rooftop pool terrace and sip a vodka martini as you watch the sun setting over the cupolas of Rome. Relax with the family in our spacious, buzzing lobby. Gaze out at the view from your elegant, neoclassical-style room. Or linger over coffee or an aperitivo on the Champagnerie terrace and watch the world go by on the piazza. If the water nymphs in the fountain could speak, what stories they could tell.
